I currently work full-time as a Usability Practitioner for a global insurance software solutions company in Hampshire, UK.
I graduated with a first class BSc (Hons) Computing degree from the University of Portsmouth in July 2011. During my final year I completed a project researching, designing and developing a mobile application prototype for my current employer that was awarded a prize for "Best Business Solution" by the University's School of Computing.
Before my final year of University, I completed a sandwich year working at Flow Interactive, now part of Europe's largest user experience agency, Foolproof. Although this was a technical support role, I developed my passion for user-centred design and research here, having regular involvement with User Experience Consultants. Prior to this, I worked throughout my gap year designing, developing and administering a number of websites for blue-chip clients.
From these experiences, I have formed the ability to produce high quality, standard compliant, usable and assessable soultions for multiple platforms. My enthusiasm for the industry allows me to be innovative, share new insights and most importantly continue to learn new skills.
